"Invasion Iowa" will be released on DVD on May 19, 2009. In this mini-series William Shatner played a hoax on the small town of Riverside, Iowa, the birthplace of Captain Kirk, by claiming to film a science fiction movie there...

According to kentucky.com William Shatner and his wife Elisabeth are among a 45-member advisory team of Gov. Steve Beshear on the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The championships will take place in September and October 2010 at Lexington's Kentucky Horse Park.

The 5th. season of "Boston Legal" will be released on May, 5th. The 4 discs will include the final 13 episodes as well as - for the first time - a couple of extras, especially deleted scenes. "William Shatner's Gonzo Ballet" premieres at this years 40th Nashville Film Festival. Choreographer Margo Sappington created a new ballet based on Shatner’s release "Has Been" (2004), which was performed by the Milwaukee Ballet in 2007. The ballet, along with some interviews with the principals involved, was captured on film by Shatner. The festival runs from April 16-23, 2009.

"Shatner's Raw Nerve" was renewed for 13 more episodes. Nothing is said yet about the guests or the air date, so we will inform you, as soon as we know more.

Shatner on "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross" (Part 2)

William Shatner will open the red carpet for the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Jan. 25 with a Champagne Taittinger toast. He is also one of the presenters of the ceremony. Shatner is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor as well as for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

It is Shatner's second nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor, but his first in a Drama Series (in 2006 he was nominated for Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series); it is his fourth ensemble nomination.

The ceremony will be presented at Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center and will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT, 6 p.m. MT).

This week William Shatner has returned as priceline negotiator in two new spots: One of them shows a middle-aged couple who is about to enter a hotel when they are captured by two female agents and thrown into a van.
